Biography

1952

born in Berlin, son of Kurt Krigar (film director and cinematographer) and Anneliese Krigar (film cutter)

1972-79

studies at HdK Berlin (today UdK), main subject painting


 1992

member of Norddeutsche Realisten (North-German Realists)

2008

foundation of the painters group triumviratus with Pekka Hepoluhta and H. Ilmari Rautio (both FI)

Rembrandt Painting Award 2008 (NE)

Award of the Industry and Commerce of the County of Schleswig-Holstein (as member of the Norddeutsche Realisten)
